Today's Photos - Merlin On A Stick...

Yesterday, I had a terrific time birding the barrier beaches out on Long Island. More on that in another post. Thought of sharing with you a unique opportunity I had yesterday in capturing a Merlin just as the bird finished off a meal. Only two photos, which gives you an idea of how short that magical moment was. The bird was there and then it was gone. Hope you like the look of a bird often seen only in flight.
