If you are interested like I am in tracking the movements of banded birds, then you will like that I managed to get the data on my banded Semipalmated Sandpiper from May 27th, at Big Egg Marsh in Queens NY. The return on my query to map the resighting on bandedbirds returned that the bird was captured and banded at Grande Anse flats, Johnson's Mills, New Brunswick, Canada in 2012 and my report was the first re-sighting. Here is an image capturing the data. Pretty cool don't you think?
