Wonderful photograph! We hear Barred Owls hooting in the back of our property all the time but I have never been able to capture a great image such as this.

You always leave such thoughtful comments :)There were at least 3 calling back and forth and this one got curious enough to come in and check what was up with this strange sounding Barred Owl :)This BAOW was very cooperative allowing me to get into position for an open shot. Luck and patience and I have a lot of the latter.
